What types of meeting rooms/spaces does MCC offer?

The MCC offers more than 32,000 square feet of conference, meeting and banquet space to accommodate groups of ten to 1,500 guests.

Do you offer themed events?

Our staff of professional event planners are ready to create the perfect event, theme included!

Is parking available on site?

Yes. Ample parking for conference center guests is available in the parking lot in front of the McClellan Conference Center at the corner of Palm and Luce. Follow the Event Parking Signs.

 

Planning Your Event

What is the process for reserving a meeting space?

To make a reservation for a meeting or special event, please contact the McClellan Conference Center staff by calling (916) 877-8159 or fill out our online form here

Can I bring food to my event?

Professional Catering services are welcome at the McClellan Conference Center, speak to your Event Services Manager for details. Food purchased at the Coffee Hangar is acceptable. The only exception to this policy is for wedding cakes and other confectioneries at the discretion of your Catering Sales Manager.

Can I bring my own technology to use at an event?

The McClellan Conference Center has an on-site audio visual provider, Sight & Sound. Click Here to learn more about them.

Do conference services include technology support?

The Sight and Sound on-site staff will be pleased to provide and connect technology such as laptops, projectors, screens and conference phones. Please contact your Conference and Event Services Manager for options and details.

How much do you charge for high speed/Wi-Fi internet access?

We have a range of plans available. From browsing and email, to streaming bandwidth, contact your Conference Service Director to discuss your specific needs.

Can I drop off materials for my event prior to the event start time?

Absolutely. Event materials may be dropped off up to 48 hours prior to your event. Contact your Conference Service Director for details.

What to expect when you attend an MCC event—from parking, to the weather & more!

How close are you to a major airport?

We are 3 minute drive to McClellan Airport, and an 18 minute drive from the Sacramento International Airport. Easy access from Interstate 80.

Is there a place to purchase food?

Yes, The Officer's Club Restaurant & Lounge is located down the street from the conference center, and a Beach Hut Deli will be opening in the conference center by summer of 2018.

What are your hours of operation?

Our Sales office is open Monday - Saturday, 8:00am to 5:30pm. Our event staff is readily available based on your event needs.

What is the weather like?

Sacramento has a Mediterranean climate characterized by damp to wet, mild winters and hot, dry summers. The wet season is generally October through April, though there may be a day or two of light rainfall in June or September. Summer heat is often moderated by a sea breeze known as the "delta breeze" which comes through the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta from the San Francisco Bay, and temperatures cool down sharply at night.
